Emma Palmer RVN Veterinary Nurse

I trained as a veterinary nurse in Dorset on a day release basis with the Lynwood School of veterinary nursing, on completion of my final written exams I moved to Herefordshire where I went on to complete my practical exams. I qualified as a registered veterinary nurse in early 2006.

I grew up on a local dairy farm in Bridport. I have always worked in busy rural practices in Herefordshire and the Welsh borders. It was nothing to be treating cattle one minute and a guinea pig the next.

I taught animal care in a high school for a year, but soon realised my true vocation is working within practice.

I spent 16 years in Herefordshire, but the motherland had always been calling me home. So, in June 2019 I made the move back to the coast to be closer to family and friends and to raise my three wonderful children.

We have 2 cross breed pooches, 2 guinea pigs and an awesome pet ferret called 'Pinky'.

As a family enjoy walking the children as much as the dogs, spending time on the coast and in the countryside.
