Vicky Alexander RVN Practice Manager/ Veterinary Nurse

Vicky qualified a a veterinary nurse from Bicton College of Agriculture in 1994. After a brief period spent working in first opinion small animal practice Vicky moved from her home in Cornwall to Edinburgh to work as a theatre technician at the Royal (Dick) Veterinary College. However, itchy feet got the better of her and in 1997 Vicky became a locum veterinary nurse. This enabled her to travel the world working in over 40 different veterinary establishments. Vicky has worked in New Zealand, the Caribbean and closer to home in the Channel Islands to name but a few. Outside work, Vicky completed an Open University BA (Hons) degree in Art History with Classical Studies. She enjoys going to the gym, socialising with friends and visiting art galleries. In 2019 Vicky found herself in Dorset and enjoyed the Bridport area so much that when a post became available at Haydon Vets she jumped at the chance.
